The Indo-American Seniors of Greater Houston (IASGH) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization formed to promote the welfare, social interaction, and cultural enrichment of Indo-American seniors in the Houston metropolitan area.
We organize regular meetups at community centers, invite expert speakers, and celebrate key cultural festivals. IASGH is entirely community-led — by seniors, for seniors — and welcomes new members who share our vision of learning, laughter, and lifelong connection.
Mission Statement:
* Improving the lives of senior citizens through caring services including social interaction, recreation activities, basic support services, informal education, volunteerism and community activism.
* Helping senior citizens to engage in social and entertainment activity. Enrich and empower their lives by Spreading Love, Friendship, & Happiness to the seniors in Greater Houston.

* To create an enlightened society in which senior citizens feel secure, confident, valued, and can live with dignity.
* To build a caring and healthy community which:
1. Encourages intergenerational relationships
2. Recognizes the wisdom and experience of its elders.
3. Demonstrates awareness and respect for the aging process.
